I didn't add my mobile number to my account. Now I cannot get authentication codes.

If you have not linked your phone number to your account, you can still get the authentications codes for logging in from the following places: 

  • The security code is displayed in the Crypho mobile app. On the login screen and in the top of the settings screen. 
  • The security code can be generated on your phone from one of many available authenticator apps supporting TOTP, for example Google Authenticator. This requires that you have previously configured the authenticator app for your account. 
  • The security code can be sent you your phone as a notification, as long as you have the Crypho app installed and linked. To do this, click the “send code via App” button on the login form.
  • If you have previously created a recovery key, you can use it to gain access to your account.

If you have none of these available you will effectively be locked out of your account. The only option left is to delete your account and re-register.
